Jonti Horner

Many celestial objects are given mythical names which draw source from ancient cultures, whether it be ancient Egypt, Greece, The western African Dogons, the Chaldeans, the Vikings and many others.
One such mythical creature is the Centaur, a half horse, half human beast, which is also the representation of Sagittarius. In the world of astronomy, it is also a type of object which roams the solar system, often cause of cataclysms on its planets and moons, mostly deflected by the gravitational pull of Jupiter, but which can also get past and wreak havoc on planets they collide with.
Professor Horner has studied these objects extensively, and Lesian thought it appropriate to polish up a centaur, with all the details you can see in the images.
You can hear about transient solar system objects, centaurs and other such marauders in this episode.  click here
